In case you’ve missed it, there’s a fairly new visual arts residency programme in town – and it might take you to Paris. If you’re able to apply by Feb 17, that is.
It’s called the Dena Foundation Residency Programme, a three-month gig at the Centre International d’Accueil et d’Echanges des Recollets, which starts in September.
A new partnership between the National Arts Council and Dena Foundation, the former will be sponsoring artist(s)’ accommodation, production budget and per diem (including moolah to stage your show in Singapore after that).
It’s open to Singaporean and PR “emerging to mid-career” artists. Successful ones will be informed in March.
Details can be found here. (Where you might also want to check out the other residency programmes or, while you’re at it, go through the rest of assistance schemes on offer.)
Now if only there were residency programmes for pesky art bloggers…
