Drunk singing should be a crime?

SO last year, this Canadian guy was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol. He has pleaded not guilty to charges of impaired driving and refusing to take a breathalyser.
But anyway, he uploaded a video of him getting pulled over (taken from the police car’s camera), and then we hear him insulting the officers of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and then there’s shot of him sitting in the back seat, before he starts singing, a terrible, albeit almost in-tune, version of Bohemian Rhapsody.
(OK, it’s terrible if you like Frank Sinatra, but much better than some screamo stuff we get nowadays.) He does a bit of ad-libbing at the end and it’s so bad it’s funny. But for someone who recently had a fair bit to drink, he did do a good job of remembering all the lyrics. (Can’t say the same for some singers I’ve seen in concert…!)
If nothing else this video tells us a few things. One, the RCMP seem to be really nice people (if watching Due South didn’t convince you of that already). Two, YouTube really IS the way to go for instant fame (or infamy). And three, he should have been arrested for aural assault.
But hey, you know, doesn’t really matter to me…
