IT has come to our attention that the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be giving away a live EP as a free download from their official website. The EP was recorded on the band’s 2011 European arena tour, with four of the five tracks on the free download recorded on the band’s UK run of shows. According to the news we received…
“The EP includes the band’s early singles Give It Away and If You Have To Ask, Dani California and recent cuts Look Around and Monarchy Of Roses.”
Gee, I don’t know how “early” Give It Away is, seeing as they’d already released quite a few singles and albums by then, but hey…
“The band kick off their rescheduled US tour this week, which was pushed back from January after frontman Anthony Kiedis had to undergo surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot.” I have no what those are, suffice it to say that it sounds like it would hurt a lot if you damaged those things.
The tracklisting for 2011 Live EP is as follows: Look Around/ Dani California /Monarchy Of Roses/ If You Have To Ask/ Give It Away
