No, she’s not a cross between Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry. She’s a singer-songwriter who appeared on So You Think You Can Dance, singing a song called Jar Of Hearts. If that doesn’t ring a bell, maybe this will help.
Fast forward a million downloads – and then some – later, Perri now is the proud owner of a debut album, lovestrong., a track on the Twilight flick (A Thousand Years), and yes, Jar Of Hearts got Glee-sised. Oh well, you can’t win them all. (Just joking, Gleeks!)
More importantly, she’ll be heading this way, performing at the Kallang Theatre on June 8, 8pm. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (that’s Apr 19) from Sistic. Early bird at S$98 (otherwise it’s S$118).
