When it became known that Flick Chick was to interview Taylor Lautner for Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1, the responses from Fangirl Island were uniformly the same.
“Ask wolf boy to please take his shirt off and snap a picture! And tell him I’ll love him forever!”
It shouldn’t come as a shock, seeing as how Lautner’s star has quickly risen thanks to the Twilight franchise – from his introduction as Jacob Black, best friend of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), to his transformation to a shirtless, hunkylicious werewolf that’s giving co-star Robert Pattinson a run for his money in the teen department.
Except that many of those responses came from, well, married 30-something colleagues or 40-year-old Twi-mums.
But walking into our interview at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills, one can see exactly why.
The 19-year-old was tanned, buffed and oh-so-nubile. Confident and friendly, the former karate child star was also incredibly media-savvy – to a point of dangerously becoming boring and predictable.
Still, ever the professional, he was excited to talk about
1)Twilight phenomenon
2) his workout regime
3) Rambo
4) Tattooes
5) really bad disguises
6) And his last shirtless scene!
