Meeting Bruno Senna, the nephew of the late Ayrton Senna, for a 15-minute interview at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Wednesday ahead of this weekend’s Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix was a brief yet fascinating experience.
It was just two weeks ago when I watched “Senna”, a recently-released film in tribute to possibly the greatest racing driver ever the world has ever witnessed and watching him as a kid larking about on a speedboat with the former three-time world champion, and also on a video on YouTube where Ayrton teases him after he wins a go-kart race, calling his then eight-year-old nephew “brake-foot”.
