Greetings and salutations, fellow stargazers! This is your Showbiz Sista being a dispassionate observer of a very special interaction: A conversation between a father and his young son.
Adrian and Xander Pang were chilling in our studio the other day after a photo shoot. Xander stars as Brainy Boy, part of a family of superheroes who have lost their powers, in the okto series Zero Hero, which returns for a second season today. Marking their first ever TV collaboration, Adrian guest stars in the first episode.
In the new season, Xander said, Brainy Boy gets a “freezing power. Pretty cool.”
“Cool, yes, literally!” said Adrian. “Do you like playing Brainy Boy?”
“ Yeah. It’s fun,” said Xander. “We talk about random stuff, and it’s normal. ‘Cos he’s an idiot.”
“What about the other characters? Are they slightly idiotic as well? What about (Brainy Boy’s dad) Mister Hero?” Adrian asked.
“Yes, he’s idiotic,” Xander replied.
“Really? Like father like son then? Completely unlike our real life, obviously,” Adrian said. “’Cos we’re so sensible and clever in real life.”
Xander giggled: “Duh!”
