Devotion tells the tragic and wonderful life story of Ah Di — played by Zoe – from her birth and childhood in the sand quarries of the sixties to her star-crossed love life; from her rising to become the owner of a soy sauce factory to her adoption of five children from different families, played by Zhou Ying, Kate Pang, Adeline Lim, Zhang Zhen Huan and Taiwanese actress Wang Xin Ru.
On the day of the filming of the drama’s final scene, Showbiz Sista made the long trek out to a soy sauce factory in the boondocks to catch a glimpse of Zoe, Chen Hanwei, Terence Cao and company at work.
