Greetings and salutations, fellow stargazers! This is your Showbiz Sista attending the wedding of the year: Between Rui En and Li Nanxing!
Okay, so it’s a fake wedding, but hey, you knew that already. On set at the filming of C.L.I.F. 2′s finale episode, Rui En and Li Nanxing, who play cops along with Joanne Peh, Qi Yuwu, Andie Chen, Thomas Ong, Aileen Tan and more, plighted their troth to each other with pomp and circumstance.
12 real police officers were the wedding sword bearers, and more than 50 members of the force played wedding guests.
Check out what Rui En describes as the ultimate “fantasy wedding”.
Catch C.L.I.F. 2 starting Feb 18 at 9pm on MediaCorp TV Channel 8. Showbiz Sista, signing out. Live long and pop corn!

While guys like Romeo Tan and Tracy Lee won’t be back to join Joanne Peh and Qi Yuwu, we do have some exciting new additions to the cast, including old-hand cop Rui En and first-time-on-the-right-side-of-the-law Li Nanxing!
See what went down at the lensing ceremony, held yesterday to mark the beginning of filming!

Greetings and salutations, fellow stargazers! This is your Showbiz Sista cleverly turning the tables at the media conference for Channel 8′s upcoming new 9pm drama, Poetic Justice.
It’s the first show to be centered on media professionals, and Rui En and Rebecca Lim play two very different investigative reporters who both work at an online news show. Rui En is idealistic — although she soon comes to know better — while Rebecca pursues success at all costs. Dai Yang Tian starts out as an idle, rich playboy, but soon joins the news crew — and gets to date both girls while he’s at it. Meanwhile, Desmond Tan plays DYT’s best friend, on whom Sora Ma nurses a crush. And Guo Liang has the best role of all: Boss man and serial skirt-chaser.
You can watch the press conference for yourself…
…but here’s the MOST IMPORTANT BIT: DYT says, if Poetic Justice breaks viewership records, he and Desmond will go SKINNYDIPPING. And, if that happens, you can count on Showbiz Sista to be there with my video team.
It’s easy to make big promises with arm candy like Bex
Meanwhile, though, Showbiz Sista gets a break. Because since Rui En, DYT and Rebecca play reporters in Poetic Justice, I am putting the cast to work — interviewing one another. This is them in top reporter form.
Showbiz Sista likes how Desmond gets in a reference to Channel News Asia’s AM Live movie reviews, presented by TODAY’s very own Flick Chick!
Catch Poetic Justice starting Sept 11, weekdays at 9pm on MediaCorp TV Channel 8. Showbiz Sista, signing out. Live long and pop corn!
Greetings and salutations, fellow stargazers! This is your Showbiz Sista paying a hospital visit to Rui En, Rebecca Lim, Dai Yang Tian and Desmond Tan!
No, they’re not in critical condition. It’s just one of the sets of the upcoming Channel 8 drama, Poetic Justice. Rui En and Rebecca both play journalists on a news show, but while Rui En has scruples, Rebecca will stop at nothing to achieve success. Meanwhile, DYT plays a privileged gentleman of leisure, and Desmond plays a lawyer. There is, in Rebecca’s words, a “love square” amongst the four. Yeah, it’s complicated.
How’s it all going? Check out the video from Showbiz Sista’s time on set — and see why DYT might actually need treatment after Rui En gets done with him!
Catch Poetic Justice starting September 11 at 9pm on MediaCorp TV Channel 8. Showbiz Sista, signing out. Live long and pop corn!
Greetings and salutations, fellow stargazers! This is your Showbiz Sista with the latest from the Joys Of Life press conference, where the cast was dressed for the occasion, and Chen Liping’s hair took on a life of its own.
Joys Of Life is MediaCorp TV Channel 8′s mid-year period blockbuster about several families who live on the same street, including a gang of young people who dream of the stage. Its stars include Rui En, Chew Chor Meng, Andie Chen, Pan Ling Ling, Chen Liping and Taiwan’s Alien Huang and Cynthia Wang Xin Ru.
See what some of them had to say!
