TODAY reporter Zhang Weifang not only has a keen eye for the ebb and flow of fashion, she’s a dab hand at photography too, as shown by her live blog reports from the recent Audi Fashion Festival.

Her pictures were taken with Instagram, one of several nifty little iPhone apps that are bringing out the shutterbug in all of us it seems, and images from iPhones (or rather, the apps inside them) have been proving controversial amongst photojournalists after a portfolio of iPhone images from Iraq recently won a major press award.

But with its ease of use and huge user base, the iPhone has arguably been the most revolutionary photographic tool since the Kodak Brownie, and amply proves the perennial photographers reply when asked, “whats the best camera?”

“The best camera…is the one you have with you”.
